I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix - ~. x* F' h1 y a& K6 i* i+ t. i" r7 Y9 d2 @ d8 ?. {0 l( w I
